Desde a antiguidade, o ser humano teve que recorrer à tecnologia para melhorar suas condições de vida, por exemplo, quando não tinha armas, usava pedras afiadas e paus para fazer lanças, ia aprimorando essas ferramentas para torná-las mais funcionais. E este é apenas um pequeno exemplo do que o homem fez com a tecnologia em vários campos.

Na educação, a tecnologia tornou-se uma ferramenta essencial para aproximar os alunos da aprendizagem, a fim de promover o desenvolvimento de habilidades úteis para suas vidas e para a sociedade. Atualmente, as ferramentas tecnológicas têm adquirido grande relevância devido à emergência global da saúde, o que obrigou as aulas a migrarem para ambientes virtuais.

Tudo isso é apenas parte da importância da tecnologia em nossa sociedade. No entanto, a necessidade de usar a tecnologia nos convida a refletir sobre a necessidade de educar nossas crianças e adolescentes para usá-la de forma sustentável.

Embora, atualmente, a ONU tem estabelecido em seus objetivos de desenvolvimento sustentável a importância de aprender a usar os recursos disponíveis de forma sustentável, aprender a viver e conviver de forma harmoniosa com nosso meio ambiente; evitando assim, num futuro próximo, uma escassez de recursos, a grande maioria dos quais não são renováveis ​​e são essenciais para a nossa existência.

Portanto, se queremos atingir esse objetivo, devemos começar a educar em habilidades que permitam que crianças e adolescentes usem a tecnologia para a vida. Devemos ensiná-los que a tecnologia está presente em todos os processos humanos que nos permitem ter uma melhor qualidade de vida; mas, para que essa qualidade de vida seja acessível a todos, é necessário estar plenamente ciente de que o uso dos recursos deve ser medido; já que muitos deles não são renováveis ​​e aqueles que são renováveis ​​têm um processo de substituição tardio. Portanto, se não for usado com responsabilidade, poderemos em algum momento ter que prescindir deles e, portanto, muitas coisas que sabemos teriam que ser extintas, apesar de sua grande importância.

Nessa perspectiva, a educação implica uma visão desde a autogestão da aprendizagem, pois permite articular a experiência vital do aluno com conhecimentos atualizados e permanentes, de forma a responder a um dos requisitos fundamentais para a formação atual, que é a formação. de indivíduos autônomos, competentes e comprometidos com a vida pessoal e social que geram impactos positivos no mundo que os cerca, pois permitem ao aluno liderar e estar atento à sua aprendizagem. Da mesma forma, o educador tem o desafio de criar situações atrativas nas quais possa oferecer ao aluno algo valioso que motive sua curiosidade para cumprir o objetivo da educação.

Portanto, o desafio pessoal é nos questionarmos sobre o quanto contribuímos para nos educarmos e nos educarmos em tecnologia sustentável? Estamos usando a tecnologia corretamente? Quais ações podemos fazer no dia a dia que contribuam para a construção do desenvolvimento sustentável? Por fim, não se esqueça que toda ação, por menor que seja, tem um grande impacto, então comece mudando positivamente em favor do desenvolvimento sustentável ao lado da tecnologia como parte de sua contribuição para o tecido social.
